After yesterday’s video premiere on Reggaeville, reggae ambassador, Johnny Dread, releases today the video for his single”Wake Dem Up” on VEVO. The video for the reggae infused song, directed by Dread and Isaac Fonseca and produced by DJ Chris (Positive Studio) was filmed at Coco Bongo Eco Lodge in Manzanillo, Costa Rica. “Wake Dem Up” recites a battle of good and evil, calling into the Rastafarian vibration to detach from worldly possessions and break free from ego battles. The song was written by Dread, produced by Stephen Lashley and David Simmons (KC and The Sunshine Band) of HEDDROKK Productions and recorded at HeddRockk Studios in Miami, FL.
