Alina Baraz kicked-off 2017 in high gear with her newest single, “Electric” featuring R&B superstar Khalid. Devout fans across the country were able to catch her performing the track live on the sold-out Let’s Get Lost 2017 Tour and since then, the track and remixes have gone on to stream over 100M times worldwide, proving it’s one of the biggest hits of the year. Today, Alina Baraz is delighted to announce that the Electric Remix EP is now available for purchase via Mom + POP Music. The EP will be pressed on a gorgeous translucent blue vinyl and released later this year, also coming with a digital release bundle including all new remixes plus the original track.
The EP’s release was previously announced along with remixes by R3hab and Marian Hill, however, today Baraz unveils the identities of the talented producers responsible for each unique “Electric” remix on the EP. Production provided by the likes of Electric Mantis who’s been heralded as the “North American Flume”, EDM brother duo Hippie Sabotage, and Tim Gunter have all placed their signature touch on “Electric”. From melodic drops, esoteric styles and bass-heavy beats, there’s something for everybody.
